I'm directing my first play.
It opens on the 5th of May and runs through the 14th of May. If you think you've seen it all in community theater in Panama, then I am here to tell you this is a whole new brand of acting, production and direction never before seen at The Guild. We're here to make you think, feel, ponder, wonder; we're here to shake you up and then rock you, we're here to make you think and feel; believe in something.
I fell in love with Bearclaw the very first couple of dusty sentences in and seeing it coming to life on stage is something incredible that I have never experienced before. Everyone's dedication and passion has made me work even harder, the hours passing by like grains of sand, and still I labored on into the night.
Bearclaw is my baby cub and I can only hope that as it ambles out into the harsh reality out there that it is appreciated and loved, much like we the cast and crew have done both backstage and on-stage. It has become much more than just a play to me, I hope it is obvious to everyone who sees Bearclaw.
