The influence of Madonna on my childhood cannot be understated: a friend of mine had an older sister who had all of Madonna's earlier videos on VHS, and I must say we watched those videos over and over and over again. This sudden nostalgia for Madonna of all things, came out of nowhere but I had a sudden need of re-watching all of those old videos that still remain with me in a way. And hey, what are blogs for but to re-hash pop culture.
A couple of my favorites:
